Well. I went to work again for the first time in almost a week. Wasn't as bad as it could have been. There was even some potentially Really Good News, but we shan't mention that until it's for certain that it's actually going to happen. I feel like whining, for no particular reason. I've had a pretty good day, actually. Work wask... Well. Work. If you can call it that. The morning (10AM-2PM) was very busy, but during the afternoon (3PM-7PM) I didn't have one single customer. Not even someone to come in to pick up their pictures. Got a little dull. I still have to go back and add a few things, and then there's about a billion hours of editing, but!

I got to write THE END, and mean it.

146,947 words. How ridiculous is that?

I also just had a call about a job interview tomorrow. I think this qualifies as a good day.

Or, well, email, at least.

Now we shall see what the dear staffing company thinks of it.

I have to say I'm rather looking forward to hearing from them.

Had a decent Friday, even though there was some frustration. I went to the credit union place to open a checking account, and was turned back as they wouldn't let me open account without having K with me. During her lunch hour (or 52 minutes, really) we went and got her a new drivers license, so we didn't have time to get the account opened then. ( Read more... )

I guess today marks my first real day as a house husband. Things are largely in place, and so I had time to work on job applications and other hateful things. I had high hopes for the day too.
